happy candy day

We went to Emma's preschool for Trunk or Treat tonight.  The weather was perfect.

Someone ran out of candy and started giving out pets. :)

said a nurse at the ER last night.  Poor Josiah was back at the Emergency Room.  To make a long story short (Emma wasn't involved!), he has a scratched cornea that will totally heal within a few days.  In order to get a good look at his eye though, he had to be sedated which was a little scary for me but he was fine.  He was still a little zombie today.  Again, we're just thankful it wasn't more serious! :)

Last weekend we traveled to Pennsylvania to say goodbye to Clinton's grandfather. He died October 3rd, 2008. We will miss him.

Josiah got his first 2 stitches.  We thought they'd be self-inflicted but actually they were sister-inflicted.  They were fighting over a toy...he hit her and she retaliated with a toy frying pan square between the eyes.

We found a tennis ball and got to watch diggers work while waiting for Emma's gymnastics class to end.
